It happened on a misty night in 1959 along the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, as Piedmont Airlines Flight #349 was making its way from Washington, DC, to Charlottesville, VA.

Daughter of musician makes Flight 349 facebook page

Wanda Willis, daughter of the Shenandoah Valley man who once penned a tribute song about the crash of Piedmont’s Flight 349, has made a Facebook page dedicated to the victims of that fateful flight. The song’s lyric is printed inside Phil’s book.
